簡介

孫桂萍教授現為香港東華大學護理學院院長及教授。她在香港多間高等院校擁有逾28年教學經驗。於2021年加入香港東華大學之前，曾任香港理工大學司勤國際感染控制中心主任及副教授。她多年來屢獲教學獎項，並獲學生持續正面評價，展現其卓越教學能力。同時，她亦獲香港理工大學護理學院「傑出校友」榮譽。

她獲得美國護理學院院士（FAAN）資格，並自2020年起入選史丹福大學「全球前2%科學家」名錄（包括「職業生涯」及「年度」紀錄）。此外，亦獲得「香港東華大學研究卓越獎」（2021/2022及2023/2024年度）及美國Sigma頒發的「2023年國際護理研究者名人堂獎」，該獎項是Sigma最高榮譽，表彰在全球護理研究領域有重要貢獻的護士。

孫教授的研究範疇涵蓋輔助及替代醫學（主要是耳穴治療及耳穴診斷），感染控制，以及針對社區老年人問題的干預措施。她的研究成果對社會產生深遠影響。她曾受邀為超過600位來自逾130個社區組織的員工擔任顧問，並推動耳穴治療「培訓導師」工作坊。孫教授發表逾180篇國際學術期刊論文及10篇書籍章節，並曾任多份國際學術期刊（如《美國感染控制期刊》）編委。她經常受邀於不同大學及會議（本地、全國及國際）擔任主題講者、專題發言人、主持或嘉賓講者。她亦曾任由七個國家組成的「東亞護理學者論壇」（EAFONS）召集人，該論壇旨在推動及提升護理博士教育的高質素發展.
