簡介

阮博士於香港理工大學取得應用生物學與生物技術學士學位，並在香港大學攻讀分子病毒學博士。他曾在香港大學與金東雁教授合作，開展分子病毒學與腫瘤學相關研究。他的研究重點包括鼻咽癌中 EB 病毒（EBV）驅動的致癌機制、宿主—EBV 互作、先天性抗病毒反應，以及 CRISPR/Cas 在病毒學中的應用。他是將 CRISPR/Cas 技術應用於 EBV 研究、用於基因組編輯與病毒清除的先驅之一。2022年，他獲得大學教育資助委員會教員發展計劃 (FDS) 資助，探索結合 CRISPR/Cas9 與 CRISPR/Cas13 靶向策略，在鼻咽癌細胞中清除 EBV 的方法。
