生物醫學(榮譽)理學士
課程簡介
本課程結合理論與實務，並透過業界合作與體驗式學習，幫助學生掌握分子生物學、遺傳學、生物化學及健康科學的核心技能，培養分析、研究與解難能力，為未來職場與深造做好準備。
課程目標
- To provide students with an understanding of the concepts of biomedical science;
- To develop students’ keen interest in science through critical, creative and problem-solving skills and provide insights into biological science areas;
- To produce graduates that are well equipped with the knowledge to pursue further postgraduate qualifications and/or careers in biomedical and health science-related fields; and
- To enhance students’ communication and interpersonal skills (general and professional), understanding and appreciation of other cultures and environments.

一年級入學
申請一年級入學，申請人應符合以下條件之一:
- 2024/25學年及以後香港中學文憑考試考生）須在香港中學文憑考試中取得中文及英文科目3級、數學2級，並在公民及社會發展科以及一科選修/應用學習科目2級（“332A+2”）取得“A”級成績; 或
- 2024/2025年度之前的香港中學文憑考試考生）須在香港中學文憑考試中取得中國語文及英國語文三級、數學及通識教育二級，以及一門選修/應用學習科目二級（“3322+2”); 或
- 香港高級會考(HKALE)英語運用及AS科目、中國語言及文化及一科AL科目/兩科AS科目及格，香港中學會考(HKCEE)中國語言及英語語言科目及格，另加三科其他科目及格; 或

- Tung Wah College will adjust the tuition fee of its programmes based on the Composite Consumer Price Index to be announced by the Government annually.
- Tuition fees are normally charged by two instalments per annum and are payable before the commencement of each semester. New students are required to settle the balance of the tuition fee for the first semester (i.e. after deducting deposit) upon programme registration in August. Students are required to pay additional fees for all retake/additional courses which would be charged at the rate of the normal cohort and be calculated by the number of credits to be taken. Please refer the details in the College’s Fees Regulation at https://www.twc.edu.hk/en/Administration_Units/fo/our_service/student-area.
- This represents the programme fee after deduction of subsidy of the Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme for Self-financing Undergraduate Studies in Hong Kong (NMTSS). In 2025/2026 academic year, the annual subsidy is $35,120. The annual subsidy amount may vary in each academic year subject to the decision by the Education Bureau.
- All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Following the Government's announcement on 31 July 2025 regarding the revised eligibility criteria for government-subsidised post-secondary student places and subsidies, the new arrangements will take effect from the 2027/28 academic year (with the application cycle commencing in October 2026). Students will be required to pay the non-subsidised tuition fees if they do not meet the updated eligibility criteria for government subsidies.

Career Prospects and Further Studies
- Students will be prepared as pre-professional graduates who can become eligible to enter medicine, dentistry, chiropractic, Chinese medicine and veterinary science in the region or overseas.
- Graduates may pursue postgraduate research degrees (MPhil and PhD) to enter academic careers as they will have the attributes of fundamental laboratory skills, an inquisitive mind and problem-solving skills.
- Graduates have sound grounding in science and technical aspects to undertake employment as Laboratory Assistant/ Technician, Research Assistant/ Associate and Product specialists for scientific equipment companies.

理科背景優先考慮，但沒有理科背景的學生也可以申請。

不需要，本課程的學生無需臨床實習。
畢業生的職業前景如何？
畢業生具備成為研究人員的技能，例如研究助理/技術員。他們也可以選擇攻讀哲學碩士/博士學位，走上學術道路。此外，他們還可以繼續攻讀研究生階段的專業學位。
畢業生能否銜接醫學及其他健康專業課程（包括本地及海外課程）？
