譚博士曾任香港醫院管理局腎科專科護理顧問,並兼任香港中文大學及澳門科技大學的兼任助理教授,同時亦擔任多間腎臟透析中心的榮譽顧問。

作為香港腎科護士協會(HKARN)的創會成員之一,譚博士在推動腎科護理實務及持續專業教育方面發揮了重要作用。她致力於培育新一代護士,將臨床專業知識與學術教學相結合,啟發學生並提升以病人為本的護理服務。

她的研究興趣涵蓋腎科護理、紓緩治療、過渡期護理及森林療法,展現了她對全人健康照護的投入。透過教學與指導,譚博士致力於培養學生兼具專業知識與同理心,以應對現代護理不斷演變的挑戰。
