人文學院於2025年5月舉辦了荷蘭交流團,參加者參訪了幼兒園、終身公寓和認知障礙友善社區。此行程專注於跨專業的終身教育,增進了對跨世代合作的理解。
在幼兒教育(榮譽)教育學士課程四年級中,包括了一周的學校實習,專注於0-3歲兒童在托兒中心的學習。
學生事務處舉辦了行業導師交流計劃,旨在為本科生提供機會,通過經驗豐富的從業者的輔導來發展專業能力、專業知識和實踐技能。
本課程旨在為學生在幼兒教育領域從事專業工作做好準備。學生將學習幼兒教育的理論和教學法,以滿足照顧和教育0至8歲幼兒的需求。
本課程將採用多種教學方法,包括工作坊、學校參觀、研討會、討論和實踐。實踐環節尤其為學生提供了將理論應用於實踐的機會。透過學校實習、教育參觀以及在不同幼兒教育領域進行集中實習,學生能夠獲得、提升並展現合格新教師所需的各項技能。特殊教育需求(SEN)兒童教育是本課程的另一個大特色。課程設置中包含一些專門的課程。在職業治療、心理學和語言等相關學科擁有專業知識的教師將參與特殊教育需求課程的設計和教學。作為實踐知識的使用者和研究活動的參與者,接觸研究也是本課程的一大亮點。
本課程已獲香港學術及職業資歷評審局(HKCAAVQ)認可,並可授予學位資格(第五級)。畢業生有資格註冊為:
教育局(EDB)的合格幼師(QKT);以及
社會福利署(SWD)的幼教工作者(CCW)和幼教督導員(CCS)。
此外,畢業生還可擔任特殊幼兒教育工作者(SCCW)。
幼兒園教師在各類幼兒教育機構(包括托兒所、幼兒園、國際學校、特殊兒童保育中心等)都非常搶手。畢業生能夠在香港各類幼兒教育機構任職。畢業生亦可銜接本地及海外高等院校的幼兒教育或相關專業的碩士研究生課程。
