應用心理學(榮譽)社會科學學士

課程獲專業認可，為香港資歷架構 (HKCAAVQ)的第五級 (QF 級別 5）。課程著重實踐，學院透過與東華三院屬下的機構的工作整合學習實習，為同學提供實習機會。學院的心理學實驗室亦設有先進儀器，助同學進行實踐培訓。課程由經驗豐富的教授及註冊心理學家授課，為同學未來作好準備。學院設有不同的獎學金及海外交流機會，助同學成為一位具備專業技能和全球視野的未來菁英。

1. To equip students with critical thinking, problem solving, and research skills necessary to conduct scientific studies; 
2. To develop students’ interpersonal competencies in self-awareness, appreciation and acceptance of individual differences and cultural diversity as well as their commitment to ethical and professional behaviours 
3. To facilitate students to apply theories and principles of psychology to individual, societal and global issues 
4. To equip students with effective communication skills to tackle the needs in diverse settings 
5. To build students’ competencies required for entry into graduate or professional school, or for entry into the world of work

• Comprehensive syllabus covering theoretical, research-orientated and applied aspects of psychology

• Work-integrated Learning Programme to provide guaranteed summer internship relevant to the field of psychology and social services at TWGHs or other organizations to enhance employability

申請一年級入學，申請人應符合以下條件之一:

1. 2024/25學年及以後香港中學文憑考試考生）須在香港中學文憑考試中取得中文及英文科目3級、數學2級，並在公民及社會發展科以及一科選修/應用學習科目2級（“332A+2”）取得“A”級成績; 或
2. 2024/2025年度之前的香港中學文憑考試考生）須在香港中學文憑考試中取得中國語文及英國語文三級、數學及通識教育二級，以及一門選修/應用學習科目二級（“3322+2”); 或
3. 香港高級會考(HKALE)英語運用及AS科目、中國語言及文化及一科AL科目/兩科AS科目及格，香港中學會考(HKCEE)中國語言及英語語言科目及格，另加三科其他科目及格; 或
4. 國際文憑(IB)課程：完成國際文憑(IB)課程文憑，總分最少 24 分，並符合以下英語要求:

• Tung Wah College will adjust the tuition fee of its programmes based on the Composite Consumer Price Index to be announced by the Government annually. 
• Tuition fees are normally charged by two instalments per annum and are payable before the commencement of each semester. New students are required to settle the balance of the tuition fee for the first semester (i.e. after deducting deposit) upon programme registration in August. 
• Students are required to pay additional fees for all retake/additional courses which would be charged at the rate of the normal cohort and be calculated by the number of credits to be taken. Please refer the details in the College’s Fees Regulation at https://www.twc.edu.hk/en/Administration_Units/fo/our_service/student-area. 
• This represents the programme fee after deduction of subsidy of the Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme for Self-financing Undergraduate Studies in Hong Kong (NMTSS). In 2025/2026 academic year, the annual subsidy is $35,120. The annual subsidy amount may vary in each academic year subject to the decision by the Education Bureau. 
• All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. 
• Following the Government's announcement on 31 July 2025 regarding the revised eligibility criteria for government-subsidised post-secondary student places and subsidies, the new arrangements will take effect from the 2027/28 academic year (with the application cycle commencing in October 2026). Students will be required to pay the non-subsidised tuition fees if they do not meet the updated eligibility criteria for government subsidies.

• Graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills and values to work in social sciences/psychology related fields and settings such as social work and services, public relations and communications, politics, personnel, advertising, management and retail.
• They can take up teaching and research due to their capacity for independent thinking, problem solving ability and highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Graduates of the Programme could further study in a postgraduate programme in Psychology and related disciplines, such as clinical psychology, counselling, educational or organisational psychology or a professional in other specialised fields of psychology.
• Postgraduate training and study is a requirement to become a charted/registered professional psychologist.

心理學是對人類心理過程和行為進行科學研究的學科。這門學科涵蓋人類經驗的方方面面——從大腦功能到社會中不同人群的行為；從兒童發展到老年人照護。透過心理學的學習，學生將努力理解上述複雜的人類心理過程和經驗。在上述學習過程中，學生將加深對自我和他人的理解；提升溝通、解決問題、批判性思考和分析能力；並培養衝突解決技巧。

應用心理學社會科學（榮譽）學士學位課程已獲得香港學術及職業資歷評審局（HKCAAVQ）的認可。該課程的畢業生亦有資格申請加入香港心理學會（HKPS）、香港專業輔導協會（HKPCA）、英國心理學會（BPS）及澳洲心理學會（APS）。（以上各學會的會員資格申請均需逐案審核。）

心理學畢業生在社會工作和服務、公共關係和傳播、政治、人事、廣告、管理和零售等許多領域，以及教學和研究領域都備受雇主青睞。畢業生也可以選擇繼續深造，攻讀臨床心理學、諮商心理學、教育心理學或組織心理學，或成為心理學其他專業領域的專業人士。

本課程的設計和學習成果均以香港心理學會（HKPS）和美國心理學會（APA）等本地及海外專業心理學學會和協會的要求為基礎。此外，應用心理學專業的社會科學學士學位課程擁有專屬的研究和教學實驗室，配備了腦電圖（EEG）儀等先進設備以及其他實驗和心理測量工具。我們致力於培養畢業生在各種情境下應用心理學知識所需的知識、技能和價值觀。
