Barrier-free Campus Challenge
Aim
- To raise awareness of importance of creating an inclusive environment that accommodates individuals with diverse abilities.
- To identify and address physical barriers on campus.
- To educate students about the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities.
- To enhance the campus environment and promote the development of a barrier-free campus.
Eligibility
All TWUHK students
Procedures
- Seek Support from a TWUHK teacher, who will act as an advisor and provide guidance for the students’ participation in the campaign.
- Applicants conduct an onsite investigation at King’s Park Campus of TWUHK.
- Applicants submit an application form and an investigation proposal.
- Applicants submit a written proposal detailing investigation results and recommended enhancement suggestions.
- Panel Interview
- Announcement of results
- Award presentation during the TWUHK Bonding Week.
Award Prize
- Gold Prize - $5,000
- Silver Prize - $3,000
