Barrier-free Campus Challenge

Aim

  • To raise awareness of importance of creating an inclusive environment that accommodates individuals with diverse abilities.
  • To identify and address physical barriers on campus.
  • To educate students about the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities.
  • To enhance the campus environment and promote the development of a barrier-free campus.

Eligibility 

All TWUHK students 

Procedures

  1. Seek Support from a TWUHK teacher, who will act as an advisor and provide guidance for the students’ participation in the campaign.
  2. Applicants conduct an onsite investigation at King’s Park Campus of TWUHK.
  3. Applicants submit an application form and an investigation proposal.
  4. Applicants submit a written proposal detailing investigation results and recommended enhancement suggestions.
  5. Panel Interview
  6. Announcement of results
  7. Award presentation during the TWUHK Bonding Week.

Award Prize 

  • Gold Prize - $5,000
  • Silver Prize - $3,000
