Cantonese Opera Fund

SAO manages the Cantonese Opera Fund and organises relevant activities to promote arts and culture to enrich students' campus life.

A workshop under the Tung Wah University of Hong Kong Global Student Ambassador (TWUHK GSA), titled 「濃妝淡抹總相宜」- 粵劇化妝工作坊 was successfully held on 26 November 2025. The workshop offered a lively introduction to the fascinating history and symbolism behind Cantonese Opera make-up, and participants were encouraged to try their hand at transforming into opera stars.
