Biography
Ms. Marvis Hiuwa LAM is a Senior Clinical Associate in the School of Nursing at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. She joined the University in 2022. She completed Post-registration Certificate Courses in Perioperative Nursing and in Anaesthetic and Recovery Nursing at the Institute of Advanced Nursing Studies, and was accredited as a Specialty Nurse in Perioperative Nursing in 2015.
Prior to her academic appointment, Ms. LAM worked in the Hospital Authority as an Advanced Practice Nurse. With more than 15 years’ experience in perioperative nursing, she has supported the development of nurse learners through training and supervision. She has also served as a resource and referral person in infection control within the clinical setting.
