- To enhance the quality of teaching and learning
- To developing a research culture with a focus on applied research and strengthen the University’s research capability
- To improve the learning environment and campus facilities
- To support various initiatives for TWUHK development
- To realise the University’s vision that TWUHK can gain a wide recognition and support from the community and be developed to be a private university well known for quality education
Management of TWUHK Foundation
The Foundation is governed by the Foundation Governing Committee (FGC) which is set up under the University Council. The Foundation’s fundraising activities and membership matters are monitored by the FGC; while its administration and account are under University’s management, in accordance with donor’s interest.
Membership
We sincerely welcome individuals, corporations and organisations to become members of the Foundation. Membership of the Foundation is for life and donations are cumulative. Donors who have made accumulative amount over HK$20,000 since TWUHK’s incorporation in March 2010 shall be honoured as a member. The membership categories are as follows:

Membership privileges
Members of the Foundation may enjoy the following privileges:
- A Certificate of Appreciation issued by the Foundation
- Due acknowledgement on the official website and publications of the University
- Invitations to the Foundations’ gatherings
- Regular news from TWUHK and the Foundation
- Invitations to official events and ceremonies organised by TWUHK
- Members of certain categories will have their names inscribed on a commemorative Donors’ Plaque to be displayed prominently on the University’s campus
- Other privileges and benefits offered by TWUHK to members
