Biography

Ms. Maggie Wai Ching MAK is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. She obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and developed extensive expertise in oncology nursing at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. During her clinical career, she progressed to Advanced Practice Nurse and led services including gynaecological cancer case management and systemic anticancer therapy nurse clinics.

Ms. MAK has contributed to the development of evidence-based practice through the advancement of nursing protocols, patient education, and oncology specialty nurse training. She later extended her professional role into education, serving as a clinical preceptor and lecturer at Grantham Hospital.

In 2023, she joined the private sector as a Nurse Specialist/Nursing Officer in an Oncology Day Centre, gaining experience in ACHS accreditation and Department of Health inspections, alongside broader nursing management responsibilities.
