Biography

Mr. Jeffrey Yukchiu YIP is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. He received his nursing education at The Nethersole School of Nursing, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and has clinical experience caring for patients with medical and surgical needs. His hospital-based practice has provided a strong foundation in patient care and an in-depth understanding of real-world healthcare settings.

In addition to clinical work, Mr. YIP has participated in a range of projects exploring patient perspectives in long-term care. These experiences have deepened his appreciation of patients’ resilience and informed his approach to supporting long-term wellbeing and care delivery.

As an educator, Mr. YIP values strong teacher–student connections and adopts a facilitative teaching approach to support learners with diverse needs as they progress through their studies. He also works closely with colleagues in a collaborative environment to nurture the next generation of healthcare professionals. Alongside teaching, he remains committed to continuing professional development and keeping up to date with advances in the nursing field.
