The King’s Park Campus of the Tung Wah College (TWC) clinched the Champion of Biggest Units Saver Award (School) in the Power Smart Energy Saving Contest 2015 organized by Friends of the Earth (HK).
The College recorded a reduction of 23,000 kWh in electricity consumption within one month though the adoption of simple operational measures and low-cost energy-efficient solutions.
This is record second consecutive year that the College won the highest honour in the contest. The awards are eloquent testimony to the College’s endeavors in supporting environmental and energy conservation throughout its best practices in environmental management.
