Mr. Marcus Ng holds a Professional Diploma in Occupational Therapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney. He has extensive experience in special education and community rehabilitation for children and young adults with physical disabilities across Hong Kong and Australia.
Prior to joining Tung Wah University of Hong Kong, he served as a Senior Occupational Therapist at a special school in Hong Kong. With over 25 years of clinical practice, he specializes in assessment for handwriting performance and special examination arrangements; rehabilitation for children with neuromuscular disorders; environmental modification and assistive technology; wheelchair and seating assessment; community- and home-based support services for individuals with severe disabilities; and the application of Conductive Education in special schools to integrate education and rehabilitation with transdisciplinary approach.
He also holds a Bachelor Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Western Sydney University and is a registered TCM practitioner in Australia, with particular interest in the combined clinical effect of using acupuncture with functional training for Stroke patients during his study in TCM.
