Biography

Ms. Tam is the Senior Clinical Associate in Occupational Therapy at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong  She joined on 11 February 2019 and has worked in the pediatric field since obtaining her professional qualification as an Occupational Therapist from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She spent five years at a rehabilitation center in the United States, where she earned a Master's degree in Public Health Promotion. 

Upon returning to Hong Kong, she supervised a team of over 40 therapists in a government-subvented organization. In 2011, she founded a private-practice pediatric clinic, serving as Director and chief Occupational Therapist. In recent years, she obtained a Master's degree in Counselling and Family Therapy, recognizing the growing need to support clients and families with mental health crises. 

She believes holistic wellness integrates mental and physical health for individuals and their significant others. Academically, she has been a clinical educator for Occupational Therapy students from various institutes and a guest speaker for master's programs, SEN teachers' in-service training, frontline professionals' workshops, and parents' education courses.
