Biography

Mr. Wong is the Senior Clinical Associate in Physiotherapy at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1994 and has worked as a Registered Physiotherapist in public and private settings for more than 30 years. He specialises in cardiopulmonary care, exercise science, gerontology, and palliative areas, with extensive experience in disease group exercise management, including cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, diabetes exercise management, weight reduction programmes, physical fitness programmes, and palliative rehabilitation care. 

He has been invited to present talks on physiotherapy and exercises for the public and professional bodies, and has served as a visiting lecturer at local universities. With Hong Kong's ageing population as a key issue, he has a strong professional interest in contributing to service development in gerontology and palliative care. He succeeded in obtaining the specialty title from the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association, entitling him as a Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapist. He is now a PhD candidate at Wesleyan University Philippines.
