Mr. Li is the Senior Clinical Associate in Occupational Therapy at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. With over three decades of clinical and academic experience, he is a respected expert in neurological and geriatric rehabilitation. He has held key positions at major Hong Kong hospitals, including Ruttonjee Hospital and TWGHs Wong Tai Sin Hospital, where he developed innovative programmes for stroke, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury, and dementia.
He played a pivotal role in SARS outbreak responses, creating functional assessments and protocols, and completed an attachment at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute in Canada. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Health Science at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, he holds an MSc in Health Care (Occupational Therapy) and certifications in neurofeedback (BCIA), Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), dysphagia management (The Biber Protocol®), and NDT/Bobath approach.
He has served as an appointed lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The University of Hong Kong (SPACE), and as a reviewer for Topics in Stroke Rehabilitation journal. He is an active member of organisations like the World Federation of Neuro Rehabilitation, Hong Kong Occupational Therapy Association, Hong Kong Institute of Occupational Therapy, and Hong Kong Psychogeriatric Association, earning the Hospital Authority Overseas Corporate Scholarship in 2013.
