Dr. Kwok is the Associate Professor in Physiotherapy at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong . He has practised in various health service settings, including community medicine, geriatric medicine, orthopaedics, public health, and sports medicine since graduation. He is a Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management, Fellow of Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives, and Fellow of the Safety Institute of Australia, and serves as a first aid and prehospital emergency care lecturer.
After completing undergraduate physiotherapy training in Hong Kong, he pursued postgraduate studies in Sports Orthopaedics, Occupational Health Practice, and Health Administration and Information Systems in Melbourne, Australia, practising there for eleven years before returning to Hong Kong to teach and practise.
His research interests include osteoporosis and vertebral fractures, Tai Chi robotics, mental stress, rehabilitation in the aged workforce, fall prevention, stroke management, and health education. He has published over 66 peer-reviewed journal articles as first or co-author, one chapter in an osteoporosis textbook, 10 chapters on rehabilitation, first aid, or prehospital care, and over 88 conference presentations. He has received more than three research-related awards and serves as a reviewer for five international professional journals.
