Biography

Dr. Sabina Margaret Pinto is the Assistant Professor in Physiotherapy at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong . She is a highly skilled physiotherapist with extensive clinical and research experience, having dedicated several years to treating musculoskeletal and paediatric cases in India. She earned her PhD and Master's in Manipulative Physiotherapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, in addition to a Bachelor's in Physiotherapy from India. 

Her research focusses on the interplay between psychological factors, spinal function, and low back pain, resulting in numerous publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals. In addition to her research, she reviews for indexed journals, presents findings at international conferences, and collaborates with the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) initiative.
