Dr. Rachel Lai Chu Kwan is the Assistant Professor in Physiotherapy at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong . She is a registered physiotherapist who acquired her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, MPhil, and PhD from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She holds accreditation in acupuncture and is qualified as a Clinical Pilates instructor. Dr. Kwan has years of clinical experience in the Hospital Authority and in private clinics, providing on-field services to world-class athletes in international sports competitions. She is actively involved in research and publication of scientific papers, focusing on musculoskeletal rehabilitation, particularly for people with diabetes-related complications.
