Biography
Mr. Albert Li is the Senior Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Science at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong . He previously served as Department Manager of the Pathology Department in the Hong Kong East Cluster of the Hospital Authority before retiring and joining the university. He is currently appointed as Honorary Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist for the Hong Kong East Cluster Clinical Pathology Service.
Mr. Li actively participates in professional activities, having served on various committees of the Medical Laboratory Technologists Board, including the Registration Committee, Examination Committee, and Standards of Practice and Conduct Committee. Since 2013, he has been the Chairman of the Hong Kong Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences Quality Assurance Programme Ltd. His research interests focus on gynaecological malignancies, particularly genetic and epigenetic alterations in cancer genes involved in endometrial and ovarian cancer development, as well as clinico-pathological and molecular biological studies for cervical cancer screening.
