Biography
Dr. Ricky Chau is the Associate Professor in Radiation Therapy at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. He has worked as a medical physicist, senior physicist/department manager, and consultant physicist for the past 30 years in various hospitals under the Hospital Authority in Hong Kong and Kiang Wu Hospital in Macau. He brings extensive clinical experience in medical physics and radiation therapy.
In addition to his clinical background, he has over 16 years of teaching experience in radiation therapy at local universities, including the Hong Kong Polytechnic University since 2002 and City University of Hong Kong. He served as Honorary Senior Research Associate at University College London (UCL) from 15 June 2015 to 14 June 2018. He currently acts as a consultant for the Oncology Center at Kiang Wu Hospital in Macau.
