Biography
Mr. Ivan FUNG is currently a Senior Lecturer of the School of Arts and Humanities at Tung Wah Unversity of Hong Kong.
He is a registered social worker specializing in End-of-life care and Gerontology. He received his Master of Social Work from the University of Hong Kong and was granted the Fellow in Thanatology: Death, Dying & Bereavement (Association of Death Education & Counselling, USA). He has been working as a social worker and trainer in community and residential care settings for more than 17 years. He has offered extensive professional training in life-and-death education, end-of-life care as well as bereavement counselling. He has also been teaching in various tertiary institutes and was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2022 (All years – Gerontology, CUHK). He is dedicated to promoting the Social Work Education, Life-and-Death Education and End-of-Life Care Education."
