Biography
Ms. Claire Kan has over ten years of teaching experience in the tertiary education sector. She teaches a wide range of courses, including Mental Health, Counselling Skills, Human Development, and courses on children with Special Education Needs (SEN). Her approach emphasises interactive learning and practical application of theories, creating a supportive environment.
She is also a counsellor specialising in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, primarily serving populations such as gamblers and SEN students. Additionally, she has extensive experience working with parents, providing guidance and support to help them understand their children's needs and adopt effective parenting strategies.
Her dual expertise in education and counselling allows her to effectively integrate theory and practice, making her teaching more effective.
