Biography

Dr. Mark Tsang is currently an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the School of Arts and Humanities at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. Before serving at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong, Dr. Tsang was a lecturer at The Chinese University of Hong Kong – TWGH Community College, and a part-time lecturer at The HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE) teaching programmes offered by the University of London.

Dr. Tsang is the General Education Coordinator of Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. He contributed to the design of the General Education Framework of the university, which started its implementation in 2018. Dr. Tsang has extensive teaching experience in various quantitative subjects, such as statistics, AI literacy, information technology, data sciences, and creative and critical thinking in tertiary institutions in Hong Kong.

Dr. Tsang's research interests include information technologies, technologies and AI in education, learning analytics, and general education. He also serves in providing statistical advice on research projects in different disciplines, such as health science and early childhood education. He is currently an editorial board member for peer-reviewed journals, such as Frontiers in Psychiatry, Frontiers in Public Health, International Journal of Higher Education, Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence, Frontiers in Psychology, and Digital Health.
