Her research findings have also had significant societal impacts. She has been invited to serve as consultant to more than 600 staff from over 130 community organizations and facilitate ‘train the trainers’ workshops on auriculotherapy. Professor Suen has published over 180 scientific articles in international refereed journals and 10 book chapters, and has ever served as editorial board member of different international refereed journals, such as the ‘American Journal of Infection Control’. She is frequently invited by different universities and conferences (local, national, and international) as keynote speaker, plenary speaker, a moderator or a guest speaker. She has also served as a Convenor of the East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS) formed by seven countries, which aims to strengthen and promote high-quality doctoral education for nurses.
