Dr. Liang is currently an Assistant Professor at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. She obtained her PhD in Nursing from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University before joining Tung Wah University of Hong Kong.
Inspired by narrative as both a quantitative and qualitative methodology, Dr. Liang has embarked on her academic journey from extensive clinical practice to academic research. Her primary research focus is clinical nursing, with a particular emphasis on ICU delirium prevention. Currently, Dr. Liang is conducting interdisciplinary projects that integrate medical and engineering disciplines. Specifically, she utilises the latest technologies such as virtual reality (VR), intelligent virtual humans, virtual chatbots, and visual AI in her research, addressing associated challenges and exploring their potential applications in clinical nursing.
Dr. Liang aims to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes in various clinical settings, including ICU, women's health, and stroke care. She brings extensive clinical experience to her academic role, having been involved in numerous clinical research projects across diverse clinical environments.
Dr. Liang's dedication to advancing clinical practices and her practical insights complement her research endeavours, enabling her to bridge the gap between clinical practice and academic research effectively. Her work has positioned her as a key contributor to the field of nursing, both locally and internationally.
