Professional counselling service for students with psychological and emotional needs will be provided by counsellors of SAO. Our primary goal is to promote encourage early identification and timely intervention, before the concerns develop or worsen. To achieve this, we actively support students’ personal, relational, and emotional growth through proactive outreach and care. In a confidential, welcoming environment, students can meet with a counsellor to enhance self-understanding, explore options, and develop practical strategies to address their concerns. Where appropriate, we also connect students with community resources for additional support.

Our professional counsellor is ready to meet with you face-to-face and listen to your concerns and difficulties. We will help you explore your challenges and provide support related to personal growth, emotions, and educational issues.
Students who have the issues mentioned above may want to address them together with their peers. You can gain insights and feedback through group interaction. We offer students assistance to improve their interpersonal relationships, emotion management, and study skills.
We collaborate with different units to ensure Students with Special Needs would have equal opportunities to access the campus, use various facilities and enjoy learning. The Student Affairs Office conducts workshops and training to enhance students’ developmental growth, including communications skills, interpersonal skills, stress management, etc. Customised workshops and trainings ranged from self-exploration to team management would be organised for student groups as well.
