It is important for researchers to publish their research outputs in high-impact and high-quality peer-reviewed journals. There are many free databases and tools that can help you to evaluate the quality of journals. Here are some suggestions:

1. SCImago Journal & Country Rank (SJR) at https://www.scimagojr.com/journalrank.php

Includes journals and country scientific indicators derived from the Scopus database
Journals can be grouped by subject area (27 major thematic areas), subject category (313 specific subject categories) or by country

2. Scopus Preview – Sources at https://www.scopus.com/sources?zone=TopNavBar&origin=sbrowse

It is a free version of Scopus
Journal can be searched by subject area, title, publisher or ISSN
It provides several filtering options to refine your sources list, including display only open access journals, show only titles in top 10% or selected quartile

In addition, TWC Search shows ranking number of all the subscribed journals by the College. Two links, one to SJR and one to Scopus Preview, are shown as follows:

Step 1: Search the journal title at TWC Search to see if it is subscribed.

Step 2: Click on the journal title to full view. Scroll down, then click on the links to see SJR or Scopus Preview ranking.
