CAPLE hosted a Language Education Seminar on 2nd October 2024, featuring Professor Edward Chen as the distinguished guest speaker. The seminar, titled "Language Development and Liberal Arts and STEM Education," provided valuable insights into the interdisciplinary connections between language acquisition and diverse academic fields. Professor Chen shared evidence-based perspectives on how language skills support and enhance learning in both liberal arts and STEM disciplines. The event was honoured to have Professor Sally Chan, President of our College, deliver an opening address that set the stage for the engaging discussion. Attracting many participants comprising students, teachers, and administrative staff, the seminar demonstrated the institution's strong commitment to fostering comprehensive educational development and effective communication skills across all disciplines.
