CAPLE organised a Language Education Webinar on 19th March 2025, featuring Professor Nelleke Van Deusen-Scholl, Honorary Professor in the School of ARH and Former Director of the Center for Language Study and Adjunct Professor of Linguistics at Yale University. The webinar was designed to enhance students’ language awareness and learning strategies across various disciplines through expert insights. In her presentation titled “Language Education in the 21st Century: From Theory to Practice”, Professor Van Deusen-Scholl shared her expertise on contemporary approaches to language teaching and learning. The event attracted 70 participants, including students, teachers, and administrative staff members, demonstrating strong interest in effective language education methodologies.
