CAPLE organised a seminar titled “The Scholarly Accomplishments and Life of Grand Master Jao Tsung-I” (國學大師饒宗頤的學養行誼) on 15th October 2025, featuring Professor Chack Fan Lee, Director of the Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology at The University of Hong Kong, former Deputy President and Chair Professor of the University, and Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Canadian Academy of Engineering. The seminar was designed to enhance participants’ understanding of traditional Chinese culture and the profound academic legacy of Grand Master Jao through expert sharing. In his presentation, Professor Lee shared his expertise on the life, scholarly achievements, and cultural contributions of Grand Master Jao, an internationally renowned sinologist. The event drew an attendance of over 85 students and staff members. It attracted strong interest from the college community, demonstrating a keen appreciation for the preservation of cultural and academic heritage.
