From August 2 to 5, Dr. Katherine Yau, Assistant Professor of the School of Nursing at TWC, together with Senior Clincial Associates, Ms. Elise Lam and Ms. Evelyn Wong and nine Nursing and School of Medical and Health Sciences students, joined the “Greater Bay Area-Huizhou Healthcare Study tour, 2025” organized by Dynamic Youth of Huizhou Limited. The program combined cultural experiences with healthcare exchanges, which included the visits to Huizhou Third People’s Hospital and Huizhou Health Vocational and Technical College Affiliated Hospital, a trip to Mount Luofu, a stone-ground soy milk workshop, and tasting Hakka cuisine. Participants were immersed in Huizhou’s culture and the innovations of the Greater Bay Area. This experience broadened students’ perspectives and deepened their insights into regional advancements in healthcare and technology.
