Biography

Dr Bonnie Tam was a Nurse Consultant in Renal Specialty with the Hospital Authority in Hong Kong. She also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Macau University of Science and Technology, and acts as an honorary consultant for several renal dialysis centres.

As a founding member of the Hong Kong Association of Renal Nurses (HKARN), Dr Tam has played a pivotal role in advancing renal nursing practice and promoting continuous professional education. She is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of nurses, integrating clinical expertise with academic teaching to inspire students and enhance patient-centred care.

Her research interests span renal nursing, palliative care, transitional care, and forest therapy, reflecting her dedication to holistic approaches in healthcare. Through her teaching and mentorship, Dr Tam strives to equip students with both the knowledge and compassion required to meet the evolving challenges of modern nursing.
