Biography
Dr. Angela Chung is a Lecturer in the School of Nursing at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. She is a registered nurse with specialised expertise in cardiac nursing and clinical education. She holds a Doctor of Nursing and a Master of Science in Cardiology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her professional credentials include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support – Provider (ACLS-P), Basic Life Support – Provider (BLS-P) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. She is recognised by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Cardiac Nursing.
Dr. Chung has over 15 years’ experience in a private hospital setting. She has led initiatives in accreditation, emergency preparedness and nurse residency programmes, contributing to improvements in patient safety and professional development. She continues to advance nursing education through workshops, competency assessments and the promotion of evidence-based practice, with a strong commitment to teaching and mentorship.
