Ms. Charlie Chau Lai WONG is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing at Tung Wah University of Hong Kong. She is a registered nurse in both Hong Kong and New Zealand. She obtained her Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Science (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Ms. WONG has extensive clinical experience in medical nursing and intensive care, gained in both public and private healthcare settings. During her clinical career, she also served as a Clinical Preceptor, supporting the transition and development of junior nurses and strengthening clinical teaching and supervision.
With over 10 years’ experience in higher education, Ms. WONG specialises in nursing therapeutics, nursing ethics and health promotion. Her educational roles span classroom teaching and clinical mentoring, as well as co-ordinating theoretical subjects and clinical practicums across full-time and part-time programmes. She has also contributed to curriculum and course development at diploma, higher diploma and bachelor’s degree levels.
