In celebration of its 15th anniversary, Tung Wah College (TWC), together with the TWC Alumni Association (TWCAA), organised the “TWC Alumni Homecoming Dinner 2025 cum Alumni Association Annual General Meeting” on 5 September 2025 (Friday) at the King’s Park Campus. Nearly 100 alumni and teachers attended to mark this milestone occasion.
Before the dinner, the first Executive Committee of TWCAA hosted its second Annual General Meeting. The members shared updates on alumni activities and achievements over the past year and expressed their sincere gratitude to the College for its continuous support.
In her speech, Professor Sally Chan, President of TWC, expressed her delight at reuniting with so many alumni and took the opportunity to share updates on the College’s progress towards attaining university status and its latest developments. The evening also featured two alumni speakers who shared their career journeys: Ms. Janice Ng, a Physiotherapy graduate and founder of the sportswear brand Chilloha; and Mr. Adams Yuen, a Radiotherapy graduate who is now a Senior Lecturer in Radiotherapy at the College. Their inspiring stories of courage in pursuing dreams echoed the College’s 15th Anniversary theme, “Leap into Dreams • Co-create a New Journey”, encouraging alumni to step beyond their comfort zones and embrace new life experiences.
Following the sharing session, a toasting ceremony was held to wish the College continued success and officially commence the dinner. The homecoming dinner also included games, a lucky draw, and a booth with Western calligraphy souvenirs. Alumni cherished this rare chance to gather joyfully at their alma mater, making for a lively and festive atmosphere.
Looking ahead, the College will continue working closely with the Alumni Association to strengthen ties between graduates and their alma mater, foster a greater sense of belonging, and unite alumni in witnessing the important milestone of the College’s advancement to university status.
