ABOUT IPEO

The Institutional Partnership and Engagement Office (IPEO) enhances Tung Wah University of Hong Kong’s (TWUHK) reach through internationalisation, strategic industry partnerships, and community engagement, focusing on development while supporting educational opportunities and innovative responses to societal challenges.

As a central hub for partnership development, the IPEO connects the University with a wide network of local and international institutions, industry partners and community organisations. Through these connections, the IPEO aims to contribute to TWUHK’s mission in education, research, and professional development, while creating valuable and sustainable opportunities that benefit both the students and the society.

The IPEO also supports a wide range of collaborations to enhance TWUHK’s global visibility and reputation. Its work spans academic exchanges, study abroad programmes, joint research and community engagement projects. These partnerships not only promote cross-cultural understanding and knowledge transfer but also strengthen TWUHK’s role as a forward-looking institution that bridges academia, industry, and society.

Welcome to the Institutional Partnership and Engagement Office (IPEO) at the Tung Wah University of Hong Kong (TWUHK).
As a Private University and University of Applied Sciences (UAS) in Hong Kong, TWUHK is uniquely positioned to redefine applied education through a global lens. The IPEO is committed to bridging academic excellence with internationalization, strategic industry-academia-research partnerships, and profound community engagement.

As we move forward, our strategic priorities focus on:

Expanding the "Student Mobility Scheme" and "Global Community Engagement Scheme" to ensure our students graduate with the cross-cultural competence and sense of social responsibility through international exposure;
Leveraging our academic excellence and research capacity to establish joint collaborations with industry partners and institutions around the world to bring positive impacts; and
Enhancing the diversity of students to foster a vibrant and inclusive campus.
