(26 November 2014- HK) Tung Wah College (TWC) has since its establishment in 2010 launched a number of diversified degree and sub-degree programmes including the unique Health Services Management major in BBA, Applied Psychology major for students to pursue their studies that lead on to professional careers. To help the prospective students to better prepare themselves to make a choice of study, TWC will hold Information Day (Info Day) on 6 December (Saturday). Secondary students, their parents and teachers are invited to experience the convivial campus environment and obtain the most updated information about studying at TWC and its programmes.
To get students familiar with different choices of study paths and career prospects, two speakers from Hok Yau Club, namely, Mr. Ng Po Shing, Vice Director, Student Guidance Centre and Ms Hsu Nga Ying, Project Coordinator (School Services) will deliver free seminars on “How to select a suitable programme in JUPAS” to participants during the Info Day.
In addition, TWC will also organize programme talks to introduce to participants the characteristics, admission requirements, articulation paths of different programmes offered by the college. TWC representatives from the academic departments will provide consultation and answer enquiries from parents and students during the Q & A session. Participants will have the opportunity to tour around the “Challenge-Based Learning” Nursing Laboratory, Medical Science Laboratory located at the King’s Park Campus, as well as the Occupational Therapy Laboratory and Applied Psychology Laboratory located at the Mongkok Campus. On-site application and interviews will also be arranged for those who are interested in Bachelor of Business Administration, Social Science, Health Science (Applied Gerontology), Medical Science, Occupational Therapy, or Associate of Business, Social Science, Health Studies. Applicants who pass the interview will be granted a conditional offer.
