The Research Office (RO) serves as the central support hub to advance interdisciplinary research and foster research excellence across the University. We provide strategic support to implement research policies and empower our academic community. Our key services include coordinating external grant submissions, keep you informed of funding opportunities, and facilitating research collaborations. We organise knowledge-sharing seminars and skill-building workshops to enrich our researchers.
We promote research conduct, ensure ethics compliance, and administer prestigious internal awards, including the Research Excellence Award (REA) and Early Career Researcher Award (ECRA). Our office also provides secretariat support for the Research Committee and Research Ethics Committee. Working closely with all schools and units, we coordinate strategic research development and provide essential guidelines to help our researchers excel.
We aim to promote the growth of research excellence across the University by delivering efficient and effective administrative and professional services. Through these efforts, we aim to create an enabling environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and impactful discoveries.
RO is committed to developing and strengthening the research capabilities of our faculty members. To ensure research integrity and compliance, the Research Office coordinates ethics clearance and safety approvals for research projects. We also promote regular exchange and sharing of research knowledge and updates, contributing to a transparent, responsible, and forward-looking research culture.
