Biography
Dr. Chan has over 30 years of experience working in information and communication technology (ICT), specialising in digital transformation, information systems management, network security management, and big data analytics. He has had the privilege to engage with prominent corporations across various sectors in the Greater China Region, United States, Japan, and European Union, including Alstom, Bank of America, China Mobile, Grand Lisboa Macau, Hong Kong Hospital Authority, KDDI, etc.
Dr. Chan obtained his Doctor of Professional Studies degree from Middlesex University in the United Kingdom. Before joining TWUHK, he worked as an adjunct lecturer and corporate mentor for undergraduate and postgraduate students at multiple universities in Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland, including Hong Kong Baptist University, Shanghai Tongji University, Shanghai International Studies University, etc. He has been invited to deliver presentations as a guest speaker at seminars and workshops.
Dr. Chan is also involved in community affairs, he offered his ICT insights and experience in court cases, as well as in the compilation of the Specification of Competency Standards of the ICT and electronic business industries for the Hong Kong Qualification Framework, etc.
