The University Teaching Grant (UTG) supports teaching and learning development initiatives, with particular emphasis on innovative projects that enhance teaching quality and the student learning experience. The Grant promotes outcome‑based, learning‑centred, and technology‑enhanced pedagogies, and encourages interdisciplinary collaboration. Funding is awarded competitively to eligible academic staff for time‑limited projects that demonstrate clear and sustainable benefits to teaching and learning at the University.
In light of the ongoing developments in the higher education arena locally, particularly the implementation of the outcome-based teaching and learning (OBTL) approach, the shift to the learning-centred paradigm, and the advancement to technology-based education, the College Teaching Grant (CTG) scheme at Tung Wah College (TWC) primarily aims to support teachers to conduct teaching and learning initiatives, especially innovative ones, to enhance the quality of teaching and learning as well as students’ learning experience at TWC.
Please submit the application form to the Centre for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) by email at citl@twc.edu.hk or internal mail on or before the application closing date, 30 November 2025.
Should there be any questions related to the CTG, please contact Ms Camie KWOK, Executive Officer, at 3725 6126 or by email (camiekwok@twc.edu.hk).
We look forward to your support and nomination! Thank you for your kind attention.
