Local

Most of the places of the First Year Entry for the degree programmes subsidised under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP) are allocated through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS).

All local applicants who wish to apply for admission to the SSSDP-funded programmes on the strength of their HKDSE Examination results MUST apply via JUPAS.

General Entrance Requirement

All applicants must submit an application through the TWU online admission platform.

Starting from the 2023/24 academic year, TWU is allowed to admit non-JUPAS local students via direct admission of no more than 20%, or 30% for the Applied Degree Programmes, of the subsidised places of each designated programme.

*Note: All local applicants who wish to apply for admission to the SSSDP-funded programmes on the strength of their HKDSE Examination results MUST apply via JUPAS.
