According to Manpower Requirement Projection to 2018 conducted by Census and Statistics Department, there will be a severe shortage of practitioners in human health activities. Healthcare and medical settings will be hit hard due to lack of trained practitioners. In response to the urgent need of the society, Tung Wah College (TWC) will launch Higher Diploma in Nursing and Higher Diploma in Psychology in the year of 2016/2017. In addition, the College will launch a two-year Higher Diploma programme in Psychology in view of the growing concerns about mental and psychological health and increasing demand on counselling services.
